more photos The Doukas Estate is situated in the Lasithi Province, 4km from the town of Sitia and only 1 km from the village of Piskokefalo.
Set on a hill side, next to the lovely chapel of Agioi Pantes (All Saints), it is surrounded by olive groves and has breathtaking scenery. There are two houses which have been built in a traditional way with stone walls, fitting perfectly with the local environment. They are 270 and 70 sqm of surface respectively and are built on a land of 6 acres. They are nicely furnished and decorated (antiques and traditional furniture).

In the main house there are four bedrooms: two at the same level as the entrance and the living (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), a master bedroom on the upper level (with a double bed) and a fourth one (with two double beds) at the ground level; all with their own bathroom and separate toilet and therefore completely independent. Hot water is available 24 hours a day.

DVD, TV and stereo are available in the big living room equipped with a fireplace. The kitchen, fully equipped (hot plates, oven, microwave, fridge & freezer, dishwasher), is at your disposal. You can enjoy your meals either in the dining room inside or at the big terrace overlooking the pool and the magnificent view.

In the small house there is one bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom and separate toilet as well as a big terrace providing a magnificent view. The ground floor consists of a big open place where you find the living (with a fire place and television), a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area as well as a separate toilet.

There are two swimming pools* (a big one and a small one) connected together by an artificial waterfall (the pool is used only by the main house tenants). . There are a lot of terraces, some of them covered with pergolas, all around the house and the pool. Finally the whole construction is surrounded by a beautiful garden.

* Please note that the swimming pools do not have any surrounding fence or safety rail and appropriate care must be taken at all times. Children under 14 years old are not allowed; the pools and other design features of the property are not suitable. Use of the swimming pools is at your own risk and responsibility.
